Things to do on Cape Jellison
Harborside RV Resort is located on Cape Jellison and directly across the street from beautiful Stockton Harbor, just a few minutes walk from your campsite. There is a beach for swimming and benches to relax and enjoy the view and ocean breeze. There is also a wide boat ramp and charter boat tours are available if you want to explore the area by water.
The Playground is also located on the Harbor with paddleboard and kayak rentals available. Other activities are scheduled there throughout the season.
Fort Point State Park and Light House are located on Cape Jellison and is a great bicycle ride from our RV park on a low traffic road with beautiful ocean views!

Harborside RV Resort is centrally located at the head of Penobscot Bay with short drives to many of the most beautiful coastal towns in Maine : Bar Harbor ~ Belfast ~ Blue Hill ~ Bucksport ~ Camden ~ Castine ~ Lincolnville ~ Rockport ~ Searsport ~ Stonington ~ (to name just a few!)
Fort Knox and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory are just a few minutes drive from our RV park.
The Observatory is the highest one located on a bridge in the world!
The large granite blocks fortifying Fort Knox is also very impressive.
The Penobscot Maritime Museum is also just a few minutes drive from our RV park. This is the oldest maritime museum in Maine and brings it's maritime history to life on a campus of beautiful historic buildings in the charming seacoast village of Searsport
